Meet Connie Guy, LMHC, CMHS...

Connie is a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Child Mental Health Specialist.  She holds a Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Calvin University.  

Connie has extensive experience in working with children, teenagers, adults and families struggling with a variety of issues including anxiety, life transitions, depression, gender identity, sexual identity, suicide ideation and self-injurious behaviors.  She has received training in DBT, CBT, EMDR, TF-CBT and Lifespan Integration. Connie’s approach is empathetic, warm and direct.  

One of Connie’s passions is working with the LGBTQ+ community, particularly with adolescents who are beginning the process of discovering their identity and are in the process of crafting the life that they want.  Connie also has experience in working with transgender youth in conjunction with adolescent medicine specialists to support transition and how to navigate multiple systems of care through that process. 

Connie is in-network with most Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans, Cigna, Premera and United Health Care (Optum), Kaiser and First Choice Health and also accepts clients who are out of network at an hourly rate.
